I just read the most ridiculous productivity advice. 🙄
"Max 2 hours of calls per week."
"Plan your week in 30 mins on Sunday."
"4 hours of deep work every morning."
Sounds magical, right?
Wrong.
Harsh truth about productivity:
It's not that simple for 99% of us in the real world.
(I've been guilty of sharing unrealistic advice too)
These "gurus" claim: "Just follow these steps and you'll be a productivity machine!"
Yeah, for some CEO or solopreneur it might work.
Why?
→ They control their schedule
→ No boss breathing down their neck
→ Probably a team handling the grunt work
But for the rest of us?
We're juggling responsibilities, surprises, and other people's priorities.
That's where automation comes in.
But here's another truth:
Automation isn't instant magic. It takes time and effort.
And you know what?
That's perfectly fine.
Real productivity isn't about hacks or quick fixes.
It's about:
1. Small, consistent improvements
2. Understanding your own work style
3. Identifying repetitive tasks in your day-to-day routine
4. Start automating them, one by one
5. Being patient with the learning curve
That's the real path to productivity. 🌱🤖
What manual tasks are holding your business back?
Maybe it's time to think about automating them.
